We enrich our Dream Academy students’ lives by providing them opportunities to participate in impactful special events that open their hearts and minds to see their world in a new light. One unique way we accomplish this is by having our entire Academy participate in our Day In The Fields Project, where our students work in the agricultural fields of the Salinas Valley for a day to gain a deeper understanding and greater appreciation for the work that our “gente” do on a daily basis. We also provide opportunities for smaller groups of students to attend amazing events like Latinas Think Big (Google Headquarters), Silicon Valley Latino Leadership Summit (Stanford University), and We Day (San Jose), just to name a few.
